in december i bought alica keys' latest album, the element of freedom, i was immediately drawn to what alicia says on the 1st track. i researched it a little bit and found out that it was originally said by novelist, anais nin.

subtle yet so explosive right?
as i began reading more of her quotes i became more and more intrigued by this woman. i see her as a "dark soul" she is so intricate and passionate in her writing, but brought controversy because of her lifestyle. i am excited to know more about her, i cant believe i have been missing out on such a fascinating individual. so for now she will be my own little research project yay!
