pink crocs.

Stopped at the grocery store to buy cake mix, bacon, and sour straws - the essentials of a good time. The lady behind me in line was standing so close to me, I could feel her breath on my left shoulder.

I don't know much about her, except that she enjoys wearing pink crocs and was in line for a can of cat food and two apples. I was annoyed.

As I was leaving, she stopped me and reminded me to grab my Jager that I had left...she wasn't that bad after all.

This is how the night ended. "My Buddy" in the ice chest...

calm down.

i hear life at the cemetery and i can't help but wonder if mine will ever be the same.

i get jealous of the bugs at the cemetery.
they're still alive.

they aren't pests here. they are who i envy.

the tears that fall from my cheek onto the blade of grass and down to the soil represent life, emotion, and love.

i will cherish each breath until we meet again.

im on a boat!

celebrated one of my dearest friends 25th birthday on friday evening. we cruised long beach harbor on a boat with a group of our closest. my quote for the night, "live a little eh?!"

angela, you are like a rare piece of art. here is to 100 more deranged, delightful, clusterfluck-filled years.

happy birthday.

still moments.

"Natalie your dad and I used to cruise to this on two dollars worth of gas and a six pack..."

Friday night I watched the band WAR with my mom. In the middle of their set, I looked over at my mom-in her signature Ray Ban 1952 Wayfarers, singing her heart out.

I saw the youth in her and at that very moment in time I knew everything was going to be ok.

I live for these moments. Complete serenity.
